The National Institute of Health defines housing insecurity as high housing costs in proportion to income, poor housing quality, unstable neighborhoods, overcrowding, or homelessness.
HSCLT provides quality housing at prices that are attainable to vulnerable families who are seeking to stabilize their finances and remove the insecurity associated with volatile rent rates. Part of our program is preparing individuals and families to become qualified buyers through financial education. We help to stabilize families, which in turn stabilizes neighborhoods. We are trying to reach 20 vulnerable families in 2021. With every $1 you contribute, $2 will be provided by one of our sponsors. Click the “Donate” button to help us reach our goal by Giving Tuesday (December 1) 2020.
